Computer Science, Rutgers University Just got an email from Rutgers saying I have been recommended for admission to MSCS program. Finally an end to lang wait. My message reads: "Congratulations! Due to your outstanding academic and/or professional record, I am pleased to inform you that the Department of Computer Science has recommended you for Fall 2021 admission to the Master of Science - Computer Science degree program within Rutgers University's School of Graduate Studies.       Once all of your materials have been processed, you will see an updated status in the application portal and will receive correspondence from Graduate Admissions.     Your offer of admission will not include financial aid from the Department of Computer Science.       The deadline to accept your offer of admission is Tuesday, March 30, 2021. You must first send a confirmation email to csmasteradmissions@cs.rutgers.edu , then, officially accept the offer of admission through the application portal.     All newly admitted students are required to attend the MSCS Departmental Orientation on Thursday, August 26, 2021; this is in addition to the International Student Orientation.       To ensure success in this program, students should have either previously completed or may be required to take coursework in the following areas upon enrollment: Mathematical Foundations of Data Science, Probability, Statistics, and Linear Algebra.       Please contact us with any questions that arise.
