Aero Astro, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) I think they are busy working on preparing the hundreds of reject emails, tens of waitlists, rather than having anymore admits (maybe just a few, countable by one/two hands). Just look at 2017 figures: 637 applied, 89 admitted, 65 enrolling (web.mit.edu/ir/pop/students/graduate_statistics.html).

Aeronautical And Astronautical Engineering Aero&Astro, PhD, "University Of Washington (Seattle) I don't think anyone has received their results yet. Looking at the last year status, by now we should have got the results. Don't know why they are delaying. Its better to call and check with them.

Aero / Astro, Massachusettes Institute Of Technology (MIT) To the poster below; according to results between 2012 to 2017; +90% of admitted will be notified between 22 to 24 feb Most of rejected will be notified between 26 to 29 Feb and afew accept And beween 1 to 5 march all reject and wait list. This is my observation, but dont loose ur hope plz.

Astronomy & Astrophysics, The University Of Virginia (UVA) 4th reject on 4. I guess I should get used to it after getting rejected so many times in life. 1 unrelated paper in review, 1 astro draft is ready. Good GRE. Low grades. Or is my guide's reco so bad?

Physics, Penn State (Pennsylvania State University) 1 NSF REU, 1 year research experience. 1 conference presentation, 1 paper in preparation. Offered full financial support as TA + fellowship. Applied for Particle astro. Met the professors at the conference.

Aero/Astro Engineering, California Institue Of Technology (Caltech) Accepted via email! To the other person accepted below, I am not sure what the stipend pays either however I think we will be informed sometime in march.

Physics, University Of Alberta Responding to person asking if I contacted professors beforehand – no, I did not, and this was a very unexpected acceptance (nearly all of the faculty doing astro said they weren't accepting students, or they were only accepting students with their own funding, which I also didn't apply for...) Haven't heard back from Toronto Astronomy dept yet though.
