Information Science, University Of Wisconsin-Madison Received an email congratulations from a professor who interviewed me and the formal offer letter a few days later from another professor. The letter says I will have full support for five years, and the stipend is $22,550 per academic year (about $2505 per month). Anyone knows if this is enough to survive in Madison? No idea how much it costs to live in US.

International Public Affairs, University Of Wisconsin-Madison I have a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in applied social science; 3.6 GPA in both degrees. I have around a year of ethnographic research experience and 8+ years international work experience in my geographic area of interest. The scores I have included in this note are my current scores, though I decided to not provide my GRE scores for this application due to the COVID-19 GRE scores waiver for the 2021 cycle. The program sent a generic email congratulating me for admission to the school. I was not interviewed or contacted by the program prior to my admission. I was not provided funding from the school; though they did provide a list of funding opportunities to pursue.

Computer Science, University Of Wisconsin-Madison Well they seem to have very little seats left after Covid related deferral. So they are almost not taking anyone for MS. Of course that means you are paying application fees to fund the college, but that is the truth with many colleges who seek to have 1000 applicants for 100 seats to create the impression of 10% admittance, sometimes even encouraging applicants with good GRE scores to apply for free. Wisconsin on the other hand charges for MS and separately for PMP.

Computer Science, University Of Wisconsin-Madison Anna University. 2 research internships, 1 industrial internship. 1 international pub, 1 pub under review at journal. Was accepted to UCSD but rejected here. Damn
