Social Psychology, University Of California Santa Barbara Don't be afraid to contact grad admissions. Just a couple days before I was rejected, I contacted them asking them about the timeline, and they let me know that none of the advisors I named actually were taking grad students, and could've changed the advisors I named had I messaged earlier. I would've been rejected regardless, as I am a rather weak candidate, but just don't be afraid to reach out, you have some sort of power in your outcome.

Clinical Psychology, Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) A letter from the wait listers Hi everyone, congrats to everyone who has gotten accepted! I just wanted to share that if you for sure know where you are going to please go ahead and let other schools know please. There are some (like me rip) who are waiting on a waiting list to be able to get into a program. It would mean the world to us if you were able to let schools know as soon as you've made your decision. P.s. it is super super fair to wait until the end if you are back and forth between programs, so not trying to rush anyone! I am trying to speak to those out there who for sure know where they are going.
