Mechanical Engineering, Penn State University Had two publications in relevant domains (Q1, IF: 5 and 4.4), two conference publications, and strong LORs, considered it one of the reachable options. I was topper in 3rd Year of my dept. still a rejection. Idk what has gone wrong with my apps.

Sociology, Columbia University I emailed this morning because I hadn't received anything and there was no update in the portal. Graduate admissions then responded that my application was still under review. An hour later I got an email that the portal was updated with a rejection lol so they might have just forgotten to update it?

Robotics, ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute Of Technology 8.68/10 GPA from TU Delft Aerospace Engineering undergrad. 2 decent LORs, two research experiences with no publications at the time of application. Top 2% of cohort.

Physics And Astronomy, Louisiana State University Ignore the waitlist. Is there anybody who got any rejection from LSU? they send me this email once I eamiled them. The decisions are made continuously until we complete the recruitment process. Once we finish, we will notify the remaining applicants. Is it wait list or I am just waiting so that they will send me a rejection in the end?
