Mental Health Counseling, Fordham University email to check portal. generic letter—no indication of my placement on the waitlist, but accepted spot anyways as the program was a top choice for me. happily surprised i wasnt full on rejected with an unrelated BA and no GRE.

Ecology And Evolution, University Of Montana My portal still said "awaiting decision" and I finally decided to reach out to the advisor I was communicating with and she let me know that I was unfortunately not selected for an interview. She claimed the pool of applicants this year for a master's degree was really large and I was outcompeted

EEB, University Of Mic Rejection after interviewing in February. Notified by generic email from the dean with letter attached. I did inquire about my status with my prospective advisor two days earlier while my application was still under review, so that may have hastened the process.
