Mechanical Engineering, ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute Of Technology I come from Polytechnic of Turin, currently at my third year for Mechanical Eng. Other than obtaining almost always maximum marks, I also participated to a merit-based course called "Intraprendenti", with some extra-curricular programs and activities. Normal letters of recommendation (I suppose), good motivation letter. I applied for ESOP, wrote a good Pre-proposal. Got Rejected from ESOP. I have no internship experience, nor do I have research activities other than the thesis I'm writing.

Mathematics, University Of Massachusetts, Amherst Told they were unable to offer me a poisition right now, but my application was rated highly, so they'd consider me if they make any subsequent offers. Going to tell them to take me off the waitlist, though, as I've already accepted an offer from another school.

East Asian Studies, University of California-Los Angeles No GRE, spent considerable time studying abroad (Taiwan Fall '23), currently in Beijing for Spring '24), internship abroad, went to a community college and eventually a state school for undergrad, first-generation, blue-collar background. HYPED (Also accepted to University of Washington & Georgetown University // rejected by Stanford).
