I'm very sorry to say that we are unable to offer you admission to our M.F.A. graduate program for Fall 2025. This was a very difficult decision, since we received hundreds of applications for very few places in the program. We had to turn down a number of very talented people with very impressive records, many of whom no doubt will go on to distinguished careers. This email will serve as your only notification of your application results. We appreciate your interest in Cornell, and wish you success in your graduate studies. Thank you for sharing your work with us." Congrats to those who got in, and who didn't, hey, we'll get in somewhere, where we're meant to be :)

75% scholarship, no interview

Received notification this morning.

Accepted to MLT. Have 2 ACL papers in which in I am the 3rd author. My professor knew the PI personally. Had one interview with the PI and 2 days later received a verbal confirmation on my mail before the admits rolled out. I have heard I am only one of the 3 people accepted to MLT (source: the PI who accepted me)
