Applied Mathematics, University Of California, Davis Unofficial acceptance email from the department. Research experience in both biology and math departments, math major cs minor, had a subpar math subject test score. First acceptance so far, very excited :D

Sociology, UNC Chapel Hill I had heard nothing from the program until I got the official letter today. Everyone else was getting calls and I thought there was no way I had gotten in. Go figure. Excited for the visit day! 2a/3i/0r/15p

Mathematics, University Of Minnesota Mathematics, Astrophysics, Physics triple major with Spanish minor. Two smaller research projects in physics, one math REU, one geometry theory paper submitted, one in progress. Full tuition undergraduate scholarship. Very excited :)

Environmental Engineering, University Of California, Berkeley Applied for the PhD in ECIC, got an email from the head of admissions asking if I wanted to switch to the masters with an option to continue to PhD after completion. Apparently only one student this cycle is getting accepted to the PhD directly from Bachelors, and all other PhD admits are being recruited from the masters program. 3 research internships at prestigious organizations, currently working full time as a researcher at a national lab, email stated that I had very strong LOR (although I have not read them myself), 4 presentations, contributed to 1 publication (acknowledgments), math and environ sci background (non-engineering). Official results should be out mid-February
