Industrial And Systems Engineering, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Interviewed recently. I'm not sure I did my best. I couldn't answered a question I was asked even though I knew it. I couldn't understand it at the time. Hopefully I get in as this is my first choice program and the only PhD program I applied to.

Mechanical Engineering, UCLA Interviewed in January and the professor already told me that he wouldn't have any openings this year weeks ago, it was expected. If you did not graduate from the USA or best universities, people are not so interested in investing in you and expect you to have your own funding for the first year, particularly for the top universities. I already have a good offer and accepted it. To whoever reading this: rejection is not all about you but the system, funding, and openings. Never let any rejection define you! We are living in a world where drop-outs rule. It's all about shaping your own ideas and making them true.
