Chemistry, University Of California, Irvine I got an email stating that my UCI Admission status was updated, and to check the portal. When I go onto the portal and click the view decision letters button, all I see is "There is no update to your application status to report." Has anyone else experienced this?

Sociology, University Of California, Irvine Got an email from a professor I contacted during the application process for an "opportunity to talk with you a bit more about your research interests, tell you more about our graduate program here at UCI, as well as answer any questions you may have." First time applying so I'm not sure this qualifies as an interview?

INP, University Of California, Irvine I got an interview!!! YAY!!! Former CIRM Intern and current SRA1 at UCI for 2.5 years with TONS of research experience in cell culture and animal surgeries. Publication in peer-review.

Electrical And Computer Engineering, University Of California, Irvine First off congrats to those that got into UCI. To the poster below, I'm on the same boat, I don't have a decision yet on my application and it's already June. I have seen admits and rejections sent out the end of May. I was told by via phone call that they are still processing applications. It is getting super late in the season though and I understand the frustrations.

Every time I contacted them the only thing they could assure me of was that the decisions would be made available by May. How callous and irresponsible can a public university like UCI be! Hoping the rest of you who might still be left hanging have got and accepted other offers. With a place with this level of mismanagement handling admissions, one can only assume how they will treat you once you do get admitted.

Electrical And Computer Engineering, University Of California, Irvine Called UCI. They told me the indecision is not specific to me and there are lots of students confused with the situation. Also, they told that the decisions will be made by the end of May. Ridiculous situation, but can't do much I guess. Best of luck to everyone.

MHCID, University Of California, Irvine I received an email from the UCI admissions office prompting me to log into the portal to check my application status. I did not take the GRE. I have an unrelated bachelors that isn't in design, psychology, IT, or computer science. However, I did complete a UX/UI bootcamp certificate program before applying for this masters. I had a portfolio that I devoted enormous amount of energy to showcase some of my professional work as well as school work.
