Economics, University Of Toronto Domestic undergrad from a top Canadian uni. Email came at 11:34 am local time, 13.8k TA-ship. My average for math and economics course is 4.0. Decent letters. The status of the SGS portal still says submitted.

Economics, Northwestern University I think I just received a rejection after being waitlisted. Just got an automated email, that just reads "We regret to inform you that due to the high number of qualified applicants, your application for PhD admission was not successful to the Economics: PHD program." Then asking me to respond if I did NOT want to be considered for my second choice. Nothing of the waitlist was mentioned.

Economics, McMaster University I enquired about my status for application. They replied that we have finished first round of admission and waiting for response from offer holders. Please share if any Mcmaster phd economics offer holder declined or are declining the offer. Also please share what is the deadline ?

Economics, University Of Oxford Hi all, I also received an informal email of acceptance for the MPhil Economics and an invitation to the open day. HOWEVER! How sure are we that the email is legit? I am not an expert on the topic, but the sender's email address and the link seem a little sketchy imo. Can anyone verify that this is a trustworthy source? Not only is this a pretty harsh joke if it's fake, it can also be a dodgy phishing attack so i'm kinda worried. Thanks!

Economics, Johns Hopkins University To the poster below: I saw that Hopkins admits 9 students this year. In my case, I will accept the offer and I think there will be only a few offers for those currently on the waitinglist. There is an open house next Friday and I think I can update some information there.

MPhil/PhD Financial Economics, University College London I was interviewed on Monday 17, and just received an email from programme director with an offer. Full funding £21,700, no TA on first year. So happy on this one, will likely accept. Profile: Master's in Economics from top UK Uni, research experience, and a publication.
