Sociology, UC Irvine For anyone still waiting to hear from UCI, I emailed them yesterday. They were nice as usual. Here's what they said, "First-round admission and financial support offers for sociology candidates were formally announced early last month. It's not clear at the moment whether or when there will be second-round offers this year--how many, and to whom-- or exactly when decisions will be announced for applicants who are not being offered admission. Typically that doesn't happen until mid- to late-March, in the next week or two. Although the Fall 2018 admission process is not yet complete, it is drawing to a close, and you should receive a decision from us before the end of the month."

4 Year Neuroscience, California, Irvine (UCI) Got a "rejection" email from the director of the program...except I got an official acceptance letter a month ago from both the director and the umbrella program so....not sure if rejections were sent out in error? I declined the offer anyways (on the official form), but just want to make sure other people don't get somehow screwed/confused.

Computer Science (MSCS), The University Of California Irvine (UCI) Me✋. But there was a post below which mentioned that the admission committee is still reviewing applications, and don't consider it as a rejection unless we a rejection receive email from them, which seems to be more likely at this point in time 😛.

Computer Science, The University Of California Irvine (UCI) Hey guys, I wrote an email to UCI grad school asking about the status since I have the dreaded "under review" since a long time. They said, the school is still going through the applications. Unless you specifically get a rejection email, there are still chances.

Computer Science, The University Of Colorado Boulder Got an email saying check the website. Thought I would get admitted, already got admissions from UCI and UMass Amherst. Boulder rejected me. Well no hard feelings at all, going to accept UCI probably anyway. Email states that the prerequisite courses and the cgpa less than 3.65 is the common reasons to not get an acceptance. I think schools I got admissions from considered my last two years gpa being really good before admitting me. CU did not care apparently. Congrats to everyone admitted! Waiting for UCSD notification right now, but expecting a reject now since it took so long.
