Physics And Astronomy, University Of California, Irvine I am wondering why the result form UCI comes so late. Anyway... I withdrew my application last week and finally the notification comes today... Why are there so few results from astronomy@UCI. In fact I think there is a really nice professor.

Computer Science, University Of Southern California To the poster below, I know 7 people who have not received any result from USC. I am also waiting for Waterloo, UC Davis, UCSB, Western in Ontario and UCI. This is very frustrating.

Computer Science, UC, Irvine 68% in ECE from a Tier-1 college in India. Got rejects from CMU, UIUC, UTA, UCSD, UoT, UBC and GaTech. UCI was the last one remaining. The 'go big or go home' approach payed off. Wish everyone the best.

Sociology, USC/UCI Applicants To USC or UCI (or anyone else) applicants, if you've not heard yet, it's possible that you're on the waitlist. Call the office directly to find out. Many programs have decision deadlines coming in the next two weeks, so it's likely that if you have not yet been rejected that you are on a waitlist and that they are just waiting for people to decide where to go! Don't lose hope yet!

Physics, University Of California, Irvine TTPB: I don't get it. Are they supposed to reject all the remain applicants at the same time? Since some others reject people like this and I have received their reject letter with other people. But I still didn't hear from UCI. Maybe there are too many reject letter waiting to be sent. But I suppose 3 days should be entirely enough. That's confusing.

Computer Science, University Of South Florida TTPB as of UCS: yeah, I'm still waiting for the UCS decision too, mine is a master though. Several people have already notified their admission during the late month, so I'm getting started feeling so worried. Overall the decisions in california are slow this year, I didn't get from UCI, UCSD, and UCD either.

Psychological Science, University Of California, Irvine To the poster below regarding the waitlist: I received an acceptance but, I did not complete my last interview with other schools until the first week of March. I am now trying to finalize my decision. I know there are others who are also in the same boat. If UCI is your #1, it may be worth a shot to wait it out.

Computer Science, UC Santa Cruz (UCSC) Was pretty sure I wouldn't get in without any research experience. But 1 year in industry + good test scores and LORS was enough I guess. Going to UCI instead but it was a tough choice!

Physics, University Of California, Irvine Emailed to mbanh@uci.edu and got this reply: Still reviewing, will notify if status change, pending an admissions decision. Emailed to POI, got no reply. Heard nothing these days. Losing my patience, start preparing for next cycle.

Public Health, University Of California, Irvine To everyone who is waiting to hear back from UCI, I reached out to them to see if they have sent out all decisions. They said that they are still deciding, and will notify everyone of whether they are accepted or rejected (Which I am taking to mean that they wont leave hovering applications will be left in the limbo of "Under Review"). So I am taking this as everyone who hasn't received an offer, we aren't out of the race just yet!
