Graduate School Admission Results

Mailed that the BBE committee has completed reviewing all applications and I wasn't selected for a zoom or in-person interview.

Prelim

Accepted over email, no interview. 9 months research experience, 1 publication.

My proposed supervisor emailed me saying that the faculty has reviewed all applications, and they have ranked me very highly in the admission list. However, the admission will depend on the calculation of the funding and will get back to me after they come back from Christmas leave.

This is for the Fresno campus. I got a call inviting me to schedule an interview and then received an email to select a date. I interviewed on 11/15 and got notified of my acceptance on 11/22.

They called and left a voicemail that they wanted to schedule me for an interview after reviewing my application. I did a group and individual interview on on 12/13 and they said I would have an answer within 1 week.

They send me a polite email saying that I wasn’t chosen to move forward with interviews because my GPA didn’t meet their requirements..this wouldn’t have bothered me, except my GPA definitely reached well above their requirements so I was really confused, but didn’t even bother debating it with them.

Received a generic email saying that the applicant pool was very competitive and I was not chosen to move forward with interviews.
