Mechanical Engineering Graduate School Admission Results

Accepted to MEng degree program with a concentration in Fluids & Ocean. Although I received a $15,000 scholarship, this program is still pretty expensive.

Another UC undergrad. Accepted into Mech Eng MEng.

Accepted for Product Design concentration. Upward trend in GPA during junior/senior year, two design engineering internships. Super excited!

Does anyone know how long it takes for the official letter to come in from the university after you've been recommended for admission by the program?

MEng Degree, with focus on Advanced Energy Technology.

MEng with a concentration in Aerospace Engineering. Received fellowship. 3 years research experience and 1 year work experience.

Applied for PhD and was rejected. Accepted for MS with no funding. Not eligible for fellowships or assistantships.

Product Design concentration. Reached out to one professor and one current student, otherwise no interviews or contact between application submission and acceptance email. Very excited!

I was accepted but will decline due to a better advisor match elsewhere. For future applicants, here are some relevant statistics from the visit days (keep in mind this is from a COVID year, so that might affect future statistics): - 48 / 506 admitted students (~9.5%) - 15 / 48 international (2 from Canada) - 13 / 48 have MS or equivalent (some obtained alongside the BS, some after) - 85-90% of admitted students accept the offer historically The undergraduate institutions of the incoming class are probably a lot more varied than people would think. If you're reading this in the future, good luck! I hope this was helpful.
