I hope everybody get a good result1

Hep-theory. Informal acceptance from supervisor who told me to expect official acceptance as soon as the faculty starts handing them out. This was my first option from all my other applications, so I am going to accept the offer :). 1 publication at the time of application, research experience on different subfields, strong letters of recommendation.

2.5 years of Python-heavy, stellar research. Several presentations including one at 243rd AAS Meeting. One minor research presentation award. One manuscript in drafting stage. Seven semesters of TA experiences at the introductory and advanced levels, and lots of outreach experiences. Did not take the GRE at all.

Got an interview email from POI at 6pm EST.

1 publication, 1 preprint, both in high energy theory/computational physics. 4.5 years of research experience, 3 semesters of upper level TA experience.

PGRE: 870

My undergrad grades are not so good so didn't think I'd get into a theory group in the UK (unlike the US they generally care a lot about grades)
