current MS student with 3.93 GPA; did research for 2 years during undergrad + current research.

Seemed like a nice program but i guess it isn't meant for me.

- 8 conferences - 1 guest lecture - University of Toronto - 1 non-fiction book (memoir) as author - 1 academic book (2 editions) - through a research centre - as co-editor and peer-reviewed chapters (x2) author. - 4 peer-reviewed articles -5 academic articles or think-pieces in non-academic magazines or press. - 11 [mainstream] media interviews (8 print, 2 radio and 1 TV) P.S: I submitted my application exactly on the 5th September 2023, the day the application portal was opened. Received an interview mid-January 2024. Patience, folks, patience.

Received invitation to virtual open house sent out to all who "were either admitted to our PhD program in mathematics or are on our long waiting list." No updates in the portal or contact from the program otherwise, so likely the latter.

Did not take GRE. Completed a master's degree.

3.52 cumulative and a 4.0 in CSD courses

Polite email from the DGS stating my inclusion on a 'very small' waitlist for funding. GPA is grad. 2a/2w/4r/7p

Interviewed with my top choice of PI and was accepted!

Got an email on 02/15 that there was a status update on my application. Checked it and it was a rejection. Applied for sociocultural anthropology. Did not interview.

Email from director of admissions that I was recommended for admission. Official letter to arrive in the coming weeks - very excited!
