Mechanical Engineering Graduate School Admission Results

If you have an offer from Vanderbilt and have decided not to go, could you please decline the offer as soon as possible?

TTPB: Hi, I'm another admit. When you receive the admission email from the department (MechSE), you are basically admitted. The MechSE department recommends you for admission to the UIUC Graduate College, and the Graduate College formally admits you into graduate study at the university. This is just a formality. Unless something is seriously wrong, you are admitted. Soon the portal will update and you will receive notification from the UIUC Graduate College, but first, the recommendation for admission has to be processed. Then I assume we will get our NetID, UIN, i-Card, etc.

TTPB: I am one of the recently accepted candidates. The status 'awaiting decision' is still the same on my page. I think they won't update it any longer. I only received the email of acceptance but the status remained unchanged. Check your inbox, no need of logging into your account. Fingers crossed.

Have any of the recent accepted candidates had their decision awaiting for a long time before receiving the acceptance later?

Any update on funding decisions by the department?

Hadnt heard anything until today. Emailed to check portal.

Finally heard back from Columbia - didn't hear anything before this. Already planning on attending a different program.

I didn't get an email, but randomly checked the application status on their portal and saw the rejection. Kinda disappointed but I'm glad they finally put out their decisions.

any news on ucsd mechanical engineering?!

Has anyone any idea about UIUC MS program decisions? ; except for one or two scantily distributed decision here or there, haven't really seen any developments. They are also one of the schools bound by the Apr-15th resolution and still not a peep from them.
