IGNORE STATUS - anyone not hear anything yet? Is it safe to assume it's a rejection now? Or is there a chance for more spaces today?

Notified to check portal, no interview. Super bummed, my research interests were very aligned with my POIs. GPA is MA.

Rejected from PhD application but received a personal email from director of masters' saying they're "very excited about my application." Interviewed 22Feb2024 over Zoom. Fingers crossed!

I interviewed with them 2 weeks ago. Haven't heard back since. Anyone else in a similar situation?

IGNORE waitlist. Has anyone heard back from the MMATH CS thesis program?

Didn't take the GRE. I emailed the program coordinator on 22/02, and she said I'm on the waitlist. I didn't ask for my rank because I was going to accept a different program's offer and am not too optimistic about my chances either.

WOO accepted!! Got an email saying to check the portal. Seems like they have a pattern of releasing decisions for MENV the last Friday in February. Applied in Sept.

Anyone else got an email that portal has been updated, but after checking there's no update?

I got my admission offer in November, but they hadn't made funding decisions then. I emailed the program coordinator on 22/02, and he said I'm on the funding waitlist. I don't know my rank, and I'm not hopeful about my chances, so I've already chosen another program. I won't let my anxiety get the best of me!

Update on portal. Felt a bit humiliated but perhaps I should not :)

I mean, it was a long shot. Somehow i'm excited that at least I can hear back from a school even if it's a rejection 💀. I'm just livid at this point. Second rejection of the season.

2 years of research in solid-state circuits (EE), R1 university, no publications, 1 year of R&D work in industry. Really happy!
