American Applicant, applied for the MA after already having an MA in Social Theory from an American School. Teaching Experience, two publications, three ready for submission, a book in the pipeline. Email from program chair saying they were enthusiastic about my application, but I was waitlisted due to their funding situation. They said I'd hear back next week.
