Are all admits out for SCS? Specifically ML.

1 ML publication in a good journal, 1 research intern, 2 yoe industry exp

Domestic Student - Canada Masters of Education (M.Ed.) in Counselling Psychology at UBC

I became impatient that I sent an email to the GC and he replied by telling me that this year's admission cycle is so competitive. He said there were more than 200 applicants for just 7 spots. He said he checked my name in the acceptance and waitlisted list but unfortunately couldn't find it which means I should get my rejection email soon. SAD! Now I am at 2A/1R/0I/0W/5P

The admission status in the portal changed to "Admitted' but I didn't see any offer letter. I called an was told I should give it sometime to update. It's been 3 days now yet nothing. There is no word on funding -I just hope it will come. I applied without GRE( Required). Maybe I was admitted because I have 2 master degrees in the field and also 2 very good recommendation letters from respected professors in the field. 2A/0R/0W/0I/6P

Ignore the status. I cannot see the student login to check the application status. Is anyone else facing the same issue?

MS in CS from top university in India, 1 publication , 2 research internships abroad

One and half years of work experience as a product designer. STEM background, healthcare tech focused. Didn't receive an interview -- it came as a good surprise when getting the admission phone call.

E-mailed DGS for update, was told unofficially and extremely courteously that I was a great fit for the program, but due to the "very large and very strong applicant pool" they can't extend an offer "at this point." Said sometimes the waitlist moves much, other times not at all. Overall a very warm and affirming message to receive.
