Got an assistantship after contacting a professor

[Ignore Waitlist] Accepted an offer. And Declined Offers from UT Austin, WashU, NC State and some other schools a while back. Good luck to you all. It's been a ride.

Was originally waitlisted. Was informed that nobody will be admitted from the waitlist this year.

What a hell of a program! It was a dream-like program for me; I had around 11 professors working on stuff directly related to my past projects, and I tried mailing each of them multiple times, but no one cared to respond, nor did the admissions committee. I feel like trash now; maybe I am not good enough to pursue this course. I am just in tears writing this, so apologies if this feels too exaggerated!! Good luck to those who got in!

Ignore the status!, Did you hear back from UF., and Is April 15 the last day of the announcement?

If you have a dominate offer, please decline a funded offer or place on the alternate list. I am praying for money from GW.

Accepted off waitlist

Have not heard from them at all since I submitted my application in December and they just send a standard rejection letter on the last day... it was 100% expected but still... unprofessional

Rejected off the waitlist; I was told that I was "high on the waitlist" and that "people in your position on the waitlist quite often receive an offer."

Was wait-listed March. I personally knew of someone who had applied to the same research field and group as me and rejected the offer. I was really hoping for this, I work with a young Prof who joined the department last fall. The email said there's no funding or advising capacity in the department. None of this makes sense. It was my second cycle and I've genuinely no where to go now.

Absolutely does not worth to spend time and application fee for this uni. They have little funding and projects, and could hire as per available positions, instead of making applicants to pay fee and do paid tests for non existing positions.
