Political Science, Carleton College I am a domestic applicant. They generally wait to notify those who are accepted when funding is finalized for the applicant. It may be the case that it takes longer to secure funding for international applicants. Good luck!

Political Science, UC Irvine (UCI) UCI is a horrible program. Ask about their retention rate and placement record and see how they answer. In one year their retention rate for incoming class was 66% meaning they lost 1/3 of their students for that cohort. UCI has profs with no integrity.

Political Science, George Washington University To the commenter a couple posts below about GWU, I am in the exact same position as you right now. My application says it is still under review. Maybe we're in a group they're still not sure about floating in limbo.

Political Science, Georgetown University Mailed to the department's director of admission committee, and got a confusing answer: "Our initial offers have been extended. Remaining applicants will be contacted by the Graduate School by the end of March." Can anyone explain what it actually means? Am I rejected or waitlisted?
