Political Science, University Of Massachusetts, Amherst Horrible portal, one cringe of a website. It took me three whole days to learn just to learn their decision. Probably the only rejection I did not feel genuinely sad. (3a/4r)

Political Science, University of Pennsylvania Email from DGS saying I have been placed on a short waitlist. Says they wished they could have offered me admission, but that the department had a significantly higher yield last year, and are therefore only permitted to accept an extremely small amount of students this year. AP.

Political Science, Boston College Haven't gotten notified about aid package but excited to have a high ranking acceptance. I applied straight out of undergrad with two independent studies in the topic I want to focus on. Relied on a strong personal statement and good writing sample.
