Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

Out of field applicant. Accepted with a half-GA.

Super excited! I had lots of CSD related involvement including NSSLHA leadership, a research lab, and shadowing at a deaf school. Didn't get an email, just checked my portal because some people I knew had heard. Has anyone heard about funding/scholarships yet?

Not surprised whatsoever. Don't really care either, it was a reach. I know im awesome and I got into my top 2 choices already. What really irks me is for those who did care about getting in here. I find it offensive to make acceptance calls and then wait two weeks if not more to send out the waitlists/rejects. Esp when the application wasn't cheap... I just personally think they could've at least made the decisions a little bit closer together. I can 100% see why some people were freaking out. I can't even imagine. Anyways, good luck to everyone and do not feel discouraged :)

SLPA experience

Is there a facebook group or groupme? So excited!

Current SLPA worked as RBT during undergrad. Minored in Applied behavioral analysis. In school participated in various clubs not pertaining to speech. Did not report GRE. Can speak a second language. Had three letters of recommendation 2 current SLPs and 1 professor.

College Athlete, NSSLA VP, Disabilities Club President

GPA: 3.96 overall and 4.0 in CDIS major. My dream school so I'm really happy about this :)

Interviewed on 2/25

Received the acceptance email at 8:24 AM pacific time. Zero chance I'm going there due to cost, but it's a nice ego boost, I guess. I've heard their program isn't all it's cracked up to be. If you're a prospective student obsessively checking this site next year--hi. stop checking and go take a walk. :)
