Political Science, U Chicago CIRS consolation prize with 1/3 tuition. I made it very clear I would not accept this form of admission on my application. I will instead be headed to greener pastures at fully funded PhD programs rather than funding their PhD stipends. I guess I'll just have to live with that Ivy acceptance. Shucks. Chicago has an infamous reputation for doing things on the cheap and a mass acceptance to CIRS demonstrates this continued legacy.
