Political Science, School Of Oriental And African Studies Did anyone apply for a PhD at SOAS and hear back from them? The online system tells me that my application is with the Associate Dean for over a month now. Strange? I wonder if they will ever decide...

Political Science, University Of Colorado - Boulder Colorado has notified everyone who was accepted. Terrible admission process. No communication at all. Mary Gregory - possibly the worst graduate secretary in the country - sent out an email with the following: "Dear Applicant, Our apologies for the delay in notifying you regarding your admission status. We have sent emails and letters to all applicants but apparently some of you have not received them. Again, our apologies. Mary Gregory" This email also included an attachment that listed almost twenty applicants' e-mail addresses!! No communication, no clarity, no privacy, no class.

Political Science, University Of California, Davis (UCD) Not happy, but at least I had other options. Was accepted at Penn, Emory and U. of Washington. Called and asked UC Davis if they would accept a transfer application from one of these programs next year, and they said almost certainly not (without very good reason for moving Ph.D. programs). So will be attending Emory with full funding.
