Got an email telling me to check my portal

I regret to inform you that we are unable to admit you to the Ph.D. Program in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. Due to the large number of applications we receive we are unable to provide individualized feedback on your application. The Computer Science Department received over 1700 applications this year, and our program can support only a small number of new students. Unfortunately, this means that there were many highly qualified applicants we could not admit to our program. If you have applied to more than one program within the School of Computer Science, you will hear from each program individually. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Yayyy! Applied on the last day Jan 15th. Interviewed by a Professor on Feb 1st. Offered RA by two favorite Profs on Mar 8th. Not a girl, but this is a big and meaningful gift for me on 8/3. Happy International Women's Day!

No interview. Admission with a 5-year stipend. Need to match with the supervisor during orientation.

Bachelors in CS from a tier 2 university 1.5 years of work experience, 1.5 years of internship at leading payments company No research experience/publications

Accepted to M1 Informatique: Concepts et Applications . 1) One research paper to appear in Conference. 2)One completed Research Internship(in India), One incoming Research internship(in France), one online reading project(India) 3)Multiple previous Fellowships/Scholarships 4) 3 Workshops Attended( almost all research-focused, one on Specific areas in theoretical CS, One on Abstract Math and Combinatorics)
