- Two years of research experience on a different concentration (within EE) - Two years of industrial experience in top semiconductor field in a relevant role - GPA due to physical disabilities

Informal email acceptance. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY DO CONDITIONAL OFFERS? IF SO, WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS?

Ethnomusicology track. Congrats for those who are admitted!

Rejected PhD and MA; 2 publications in my area; 3 research languages; MA in related field; 7 conferences. Shut out from everything this year.

Emailed the director and my pi twice and they never replied, didn't even ask for an interview

Heartbreak. Generic Rejection I am writing to regretfully inform you that we will not be able to offer you a place in the University of Illinois Physics Graduate Program. We received a record number of applications this year, and because we have a limited number of openings in each research area, we must unfortunately turn away many highly qualified students. I regret that we cannot take more of the excellent students that were in our applicant pool this year. I hope you find a graduate physics program that fits your research interests and I wish you the best in your promising future career. It's over for me. Just 6 more to go.
