Political Science, University Of California, Berkeley (UCB) Got department notification several weeks ago but apparently the gsas felt the need to highlight the decision. Even better-- all I got was the "check your online app" email so for 5 min while I scrambled to find my account info I thought that maybe there was a chance I got in... Berkeley thy name is sheer evil!

Political Science, University Of California, Davis (UCD) I have already gotten into three schools so I'm okay. But posters who haven't gotten into any schools at all should re-apply next year and take a different strategy. Even if you think you would only go to a top school...you have to have a range and you have to find professors that are very interested in your research...and then contact them beforehand. This is my second year applying and I followed my own advice. You just need to hone in on your strategy...It's not all about the GRE! Good luck!!!

Political Science, University Of California, Santa Babara (UCSB) got accepted by e-mail 10 days ago, just got the letter. "budget situation is unclear, not sure what amount of funding you will get". won't go if no money though. anyone else in the same situation?
