Philosophy, Texas Tech University Very kind email from Dr. Nathan informing me of a very generous funding package. Also, I have yet to hear initial decisions from 6 programs. Are schools still accepting students this late into the decisions season, or should I assume that no news at this point is bad news?

Philosophy, University Of California At Riverside Accepted off of the wait list; full support for five years (TA-ship and additional fellowship). So thrilled! Will likely be accepting this one and declining my other offer. Good luck to everyone--only a couple more days of this website!

Philosophy, Indiana Bloomington I've taken myself off the waitlist for Indiana -- I was pretty high up on there, McCarty wouldn't quite specify how high, but he was confident that I would be accepted (his words "it's very likely, but not certain" that I would, "in the fullness of time", be accepted into the program with full support). Philosophy, University Of Minnesota PhD: 1a/0w/9r; MA: 2a/0w/2r. Going to Accept Minnesota's fully funded offer. Only need one to say yes, even if 9 did reject me! Oh, and my quantitative GRE was in the 39th percentile. Yes, it is possible people!
