Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

Torn between G.Tech MSCS and UCSD MSCS. Have got good and bad reviews on both. Slightly inclined towards UCSD because of more flexibility to choose courses and better CV research. People I reached out to said in rankings both colleges are identical. Agree to the general norms that both colleges have taken in good profiles as well as profiles below average in the name of diversity. Overall cost of the MS is also nearly identical at both places but UCSD seems to have the nicer weather while TA is completely waived off in GTech. Any responses would be highly appreciated

Anyone willing to reject their offer, please do it at the earliest. After 8 rejections, this is my only chance.

Undergrad from a top IIT. Fellowship at Microsoft Research and excellent research experience in intended field of study with strong LORs. Was shocked to have received a reject. Personally felt my profile was a better fit for the specialization than those admitted. Seems like they wanted to keep their yield game strong. No regrets. Congratulations to whoever got in.

LMAO I went to UCLA from undergrad and they still rejected me. What a scumbag school. I have better admits anyways so I would have rejected the offer. No longer consider myself a Bruin after this.

Undergrad from top uk uni. I expected as I haven't heard back earlier. My only offers are from my safeties ( Virginia Tech MSCS and Northeastern MSAI) out of 7 universities I heard back until now! Not sure which one is better and what should I do in this point. I appreciate any opinion. Good luck with rest of the season!

very disappointed, Undergrad from a top university in California, 3 years research experience, 2 publication - still got rejected :( The grad school MS is all about money, show them you have cache to pay the tuition and the acceptance will be on mail. They accept a few other students to say yeah we have a diversity.

I was waitlisted for the MSCV program, received my acceptance a few days ago. CS Undergrad from BITS Pilani, GPA: 9.48, 2 research internships at top 10 unis, 1 CVPR submission. Thrilled!
