Philosophy, University Of Virginia I sent an e-mail to Virginia this morning asking about my application's status, and about an hour later they sent everyone the e-mail the posters below have been mentioning. I suppose so many people had been asking the same question that they figured they might as well send everyone an update.

Philosophy, Virginia Email THAT they are working on a waitlist, that the initial offers have been sent, and that I should hear by March 3 or else contact them. I take it that I am not yet/currently on a waitlist. I think we got a new category in our ontology of admission statuses.
