The International Peace Studies Selection Committee interviewed me on February 13th. I'm still waiting to hear back!

Anyone got an update for those that applied for either November 2023 or January 2024 deadline?

Very generic rejection email. Didn't even have my name on it, it just said "Dear applicant,".

Received admission with 50% scholarship. Unsure if the program is supportive enough

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the NIT. Did two research internships at IITs through research programs, in addition to completing four college projects. 1 patent is currently being reviewed, with no publications or work experience.

2 Q1 pubs (IF=9 & 16) & 1 prestigious conference paper; 3 yrs of R&D, reviewed 20 papers for 5 renowned journals; contacted Haithem Taha 2 months before ddline. He siad there WILL be a position. Read his 3 papers and proposed 4 areas as potential topics (he liked them). After spending 180$ and MUCH time on his papers, he said: "sorry I have no fundings!!!". Why on earth does a prof give us a dummy hope???
