Political Science, University Of Virginia The day before the decision deadline for other schools (I had 3 other funded offers) I was contacted by DGS asking if I had accepted another offer. Would have been nicer to know that it was a potential option earlier on. I don't see the point of a blind wait-list.

Political Science, University Of Virginia just spoke to UVA..all offers have been made, and this lady with bad attitude suggests us to just email jeff jenkins if we "really" need to see a letter of rejection...sheessh for the money we've paid for application we are not eligible to receive a rejection letter by the 15th??? i know we're receiving "offers" but that doesnt make us quasi-job-seekers. we still spend money to purchase the service of deliberation, no??

Political Science / Department Of Politics (IR), University Of Virginia (UVa) Your best bet to find out the status of your application is to contact the department directly (graduate director or secretary). If you hadn't been contacted before, you were on the waitlist. Now that the April 15 deadline is past, I think that they have made all of their offers.

Political Science - American Politics, University Of Virginia Received unofficial offer from Dr. Jenkins on 4/10 after emailing to find out I was on waitlist one month ago. Full tuition waiver and $18,000 TA/Fellowship stipend. 90% sure I will be accepting offer in next couple days. Good luck to those still on the waitlist and congratulations to those already accepted!
