Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

Applied early decision, hoping to see where else I get in before securing my spot at this school.

Just found out! Here's a little about me: - Extracurricular: President for a small student org I organized, exec in two bigger orgs, mentee with LGBTQ+ CSDSA. I also paint and do photography for fun! - Employment: Tutor for Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, Linguistics, and ASL courses, RBT for 1 year, closed captioner, mentor for teens with brain injuries at a large children's hospital. - Research: Lead researcher for 2 years in rehabilitation research project, co-authored manuscript in peer-review, presented at national medical conference. - Miscellaneous: I'm a scholarship recipient for students with my tremor syndrome. I wrote about my experiences with the disorder in my essays. Good luck everyone!

2nd applying to graduate program at San Marcos! Slpa internship, small business owner, and teacher assistant. They do not require resume or LOR. Do not give up hope! They denied me last year with no interview and this year I got an interview. My gpa is not the best (3.6)

I was very pleased to open my email and see the confirmation email from Samford, stating that I had been accepted to the program! Woohoo! There was a quality field of applicants this year, so I am honored to have been chosen as a potential member of the Spring 2024 cohort. I will ponder the other admissions results I receive over the next few weeks and give them my decision by March 1st.

I went in for the interview and had a great time! It seems like a quality program, and Birmingham is a beautiful city. There is a quality pool applicant this year, so I anticipate that it will be highly competitive to be accepted. Good luck to all who applied!
