Physics Graduate School Admission Results

Got an email saying that I was waitlisted.

CMT. No internships. Project for final year Master's. I was informed via mail to check the portal, and I found out that I was I was rejected.

Applied as Hep-EX/Nuclear-EX. No Interview. 2+ years of Nuclear Experimental research, 1 REU at a top public institution, and poster presentation at DNP 2023 associated with that REU.

Anybody heard if UCSB is finished admitting students? their website www.graddiv.ucsb.edu/ucsb-graduate-statistics indicates they have accepted 55 students which is far fewer than usual (it has updates slowly every week or so).

Ignore waitlist, I didn't receive either an offer or rejection letter from Brown. Does anyone know what's going on?

Got a fee waiver for the application so did not regret applying. Was a long shot anyway, subfield is GW physics.

Has anyone heard from Uni of Florida or are they planning to not send notifications this year????

Denial email from grad co after inquiry. "I regret, we won't be able to offer u admission at this time. I'll send u more generic email at the end of this week."

Hep-th. Funny enough my interviewer told me that I would probably get amazing offers and he was hoping he would see me in caltech next fall. Well, I was lucky enough to get a better offer, but it still hurts.
