DrPH, implementation science. GPA is grad

Grad GPA. Received an email telling me to check the portal because my application status had been updated. I was able to see my acceptance letter through the portal. Later received an email from the assistant chair with an assistantship offer and stipend information.

Got an email to check portal. No word about assistantship. Anyone knows about funding?

Got off waitlist, so excited

Building Tech track. good schools. ultra-low undergrad GPA. expected. Congrats to those who got admitted!

Solicited. Unranked waitlist. Taking it as a rejection. (also, said they wouldn't even know until April 16th which is a day past the deadline so would have to reject my other offers lol)

7+ years of industry experience in Data analysis and science in a fortune 500 company. 3 pubications but not in high impact journals. Won the research competition for my thesis at reputable US university. Grad GPA: 3.6. Strong LORs from thesis advisors, former manager, and the current employer. Strong SOP The only negatives: no relevant research background, and undergrad GPA = 3.0. I expected this result, but what hurts is that the school did not even send me an email saying to check my portal for the updated results. Randomly checked the portal and saw the updated status with their generic email for non-admission. It would have been nice to at least send a notification email about the status update after all the hard work and effort the applicants put in to apply.

7 years Lead Pharmacy Technician, 7 months TA at nonprofit school that provides education and therapy services, 50+ observation hours. Just wanting to spread some hope for those that are feeling discouraged.

4.0 Undergrad, 3.9 Masters in Urban Planning. Less research experience but have published articles and speak at conferences. Not sure why, wish they provided some explanation to see if it is worth trying again next year (funding constraints?) or not bother (don't think I'm a fit, etc)
