Political Science, University of Pennsylvania To the fellow individual waitlisted for funding at UPenn below: my POI contacted me and said that they would not know whether they'd be able to offer funding to those on the waitlist until "the final days before the April 15th deadline." Not ideal news, but better than being rejected outright I guess.

Political Science, University of Pennsylvania Email to check the website, notice there that I was not accepted. Two rejections from top 5 schools, not surprised but I have 6 more applications I am waiting on!

Political Science, University of Pennsylvania E-mail telling you to check website status. When my prof warned me how screwy this process is, I really had no idea... but, after being accepted at a top-5 program and rejected by Penn, she was absolutely right. I think fit matters more and more each year.
