Philosophy, University of Arkansas GPA is graduate (already have an MA in philosophy). Was accepted to Arkansas' MA program with the (high) possibility to move on to the PhD program afterwards. Notification (& submission of my application) was unusually late because a spot happened to open up late in the summer. Overall, 1/1/10 (a/w/r). To those still in limbo regarding whether to (re-)apply, it is a difficult process but so very worth it. Hang in there & don't give up!

Philosophy, SIU Carbondale I have talked to people in this program. There's no funding really for those that have it. Phd students are routinely funded at the Masters level, and only get it for three years. Phd is a four year program.
