Physics Graduate School Admission Results

Was my one of my top choices, so I'm glad to finally hear back with a great offer letter. Contacted the possible PI about my interest in his research and how I got introduced to him during my internship. I also described how I have kept in touch with the center I interned at for future research opportunities because my home institution does not have people doing research in the same field. The professor got back to me with a good response within two days however not confirming admission to the program, I got the acceptance three days later. I used to check this forum every day so thought I should drop the result here. Please contact the person you want to work with if you think you know a lot about their work and would like to really join their research group, it helps and its not too late.

ignore waitlist. Has anyone heard from them for cosmo/HEP?

The Professor invited me to talk about my current research but has not confirmed that I'm in yet. The deadline was February, 15th.

Reached out to Grad Chair regarding decisions, whom I had previously contacted for application fee waivers. Was told that the first round of decisions have been rolled out and it is unlikely that I'd be selected.

Ignore the waitlist. Did anybody who attended today's Open House know around when we should expect to receive the official letter from school? Did the person in main room mention it? (I also heard somewhere that you could be waitlisted even though you got open house invitation, so I was wondering)
