Political Science, University of Rochester Expected rejection bc my interests do not relate much (if at all) to the department's strengths.
As it mentions funding level to be expected once admitted, the letter implied a sense of possibility of getting off the list. Lets see.

Political Science, University Of California, Davis Got into UCSC and UCR with full funding last admission cycle but decided to drop out of UCSC because they "did not deliberately mislead me about funding, they just had a lack of information;"whereas I turned down UCR's contractual funding offe. So I exactly do not know why I got rejected-maybe not a good fit? maybe the profs in SC talk with that of Davis?-since they are in the general vicinity

Political Science, UC Berkeley Oh well... Funny story though - I originally accepted admittance to Cal as an undergrad before jumping ship for Duke, and FOUR YEARS LATER they still think I'm a student there. Look for me in the yearbook!

Political Science, University of Rochester I still LOVE you coachrjc!!! Honestly, this was not a super great fit for me, but the faculty members are exceptional, so I had to try.
