Philosophy, University of Houston Short waitlist for TA-ship. Guess I shouldn't be surprised, given that I'm a non-major who didn't have a lot of their requirements for unconditional admission. But I am a bit surprised given generous offers I've received elsewhere.

Philosophy, University Of Oklahoma I also received an email in addition to the phone call. While I was waitlisted for the Ph.D. program, I was accepted to the Master's program with a "special offer"* of a funded spot, since I am "one of the most promising recent-BA students to apply."** Given a stipend, no mention of tuition waiver. Philosophy, McGill University The email said "significant decision made". Honestly, I see nothing significant about this, every bit of it was pathetic. I'm not even going to appreciate the polite tone of the email, it's the least they can do.
