Got admitted to the MCS program! I have nearly 2 years of work experience from FAANG. Graduated from a private university in South India. 3 minor publications, 1 research project under a mentorship program.

Getting rejection from everywhere (◕︵◕), No admit so far !!

I don't think I match , dartmouth seems focus on HCI, CV.

Profile: GRE 330, GPA 8.87 tier 2 in India. Multiple research projects. research Internships at IIT and DRDO. One professional internship. Toefl 116. No papers. Stoked!

Didn't receive any mail from UTD, checked the portal and it showed 'Application Denied'.

I got accepted into the MCS program. I graduated from IIT - BHU Varanasi. Have many relevant projects and 1 publication in an international journal. Also, have an exp of 2 years working with a Fintech giant. I would love to connect with fellow applicants who received an admission.

Ignore Waitlist. Have all UCSD admit results been released? Is the hope over for rest of the remaining applicants?

I received the admission decision a week ago but I just got the assistantship awarded in a separate email. Apply with intent to do machine learning. A lot of relevant graduate cs classes and senior math classes with B and above. 1 current research project in an unrelated topic but possible applications to ml (active research field). 1 unpaid internship in my home country. 3 hackathons with products but no awards. 1 possible strong LOR, 2 ok LORs. ok SOP, dropped a lot of paper names and book names.

Research ex - 1 year in NLP under a professor in my undergrad. Various shorter stints in my undergrad (ML). No publications. Specialization applied for - Systems + ML
