Computer Science (Scientists And Engineers), University of Southern California To the poster below with 3.97 GPA, I too have an MS CS (S&E) USC admit and might want to defer to Fall '18. How will you contact USC for deferment? Mail them or is there a formal pipeline in place? Also, how strong should be the reason to defer?

Computer Science, McGill University to below: stats: Lvl 90 rogue in WoW, 99 fishing in RS, GPA 4.0, been working on a collab project with a professor at McGill for the last 6 months (he is not a computer science professor). Haven't spoken with a single computer science professor. Letter said funding information was to follow. Applied in December

Computer Science, Seattle University Received an official rejection via email. However, the faculty member I'd been in contact with emailed me some time later to apologize and explained that the department had been seeking more AI/ML focused students with multiple faculty recommendations. Offered a position in her lab to me over the summer, which was nice.

Computer Science, University Of British Columbia (UBC) - Okanagan Campus Accepted to the Optimization group with a funding offer of 18K CAD per year. Was interviewed mid February. So relieved.
