No GRE, have done one REU, one research on campus. First acceptance of the season, waiting around was worth it ig. Still no news about funding...

My every dream come true

Yay! I will be flying to San Francisco!

Got email to check portal

Scholarship for 1st year. After that RA/TA. Funding amount: 33k for 12 months.

Would reject the waitlist since I have better admits.

Received an email asking whether I wished to join the waitlist, for a decision by late May.

University of Waterloo grad, no conference papers, one undergraduate research experience in an unrelated domain of computer science, many internships. Rough cumulative GPA due to a couple of terms where I really struggled with completing schoolwork, due to external sources. Not very surprised at the result. Honestly, if anybody has any advice for how I can turn my chances next time I apply, despite not being able to change my GPA, I'd love to hear it in the comments.

I am permanent resident but not citizen. They sent me the email on 2/10.

3 strong LOR's, 1 publication, 2 research presentations with awards. 2+ years of research experience. Had 3 interviews with potential supervisor and lab. Last interview sounded like I had got in, but nope. Don't know what else I could have done. Congrats to all that got accepted.
