TTBP: To the Umass-Amherst status change. Chill. My status changed to Update Pending yesterday and changed to Admitted today. No email was sent. USC vs Umass. Which one should I prefer, since my research interests are Deep Learning and Reinforced Learning?

I know two of my friends who got into the same program and now I understand the meaning of "intense competition". Good Luck teaching your graduate students the difference between a FOR loop and a WHILE loop. If 3.8 GPA is what you want, please mention it on your application portal next time.

To the columbia poster below. Were you asked to submit a one page essay for the master program, when you were rejected from the PhD. ?

I got 3 strong LoRs, 3 top CV conference papers, perfect GPA.

With funding. Math & CS major, bad GRE, 3 years research experience, 2 second author publications, 1 first author publication in preparation, strong LoRs and POI knew my letter writers. POI called me to interview before I received the acceptance. Very excited!

TA ship. No Interview
