Notable line from email: "We received an unprecedented number of applications this year which has resulted in many more highly qualified applicants than positions available. In addition, the Graduate School is admitting a smaller number of new students than usual in response to the financial impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, we find ourselves in a difficult position while under stricter constraints."

You can call it "Government" or whatever... I will reject this offer since I have been committed somewhere else. Good luck to those on the waiting list!

Ignore interview; has anyone received a rejection from UPenn, Michigan, or Notre Dame? I've been seeing acceptances and waitlistings. The waiting is driving me insane. I wish they would just reject me already.

Are all of the Harvard Gov acceptances out? Looks like ~5 people posted already. Is that the whole cohort? Ignore waitlist.

I've asked to be taken off the list. Have multiple admissions from other schools. Won't go there anyway.

Had an interview couple months ago Got email today to check portal at 7am Portal had funding package attached

I just recently got off the waitlist, was super shocked that I was admitted with my low GPA, just grateful to God. (1 REU, stayed in the same research lab for 2 years now, 1 publication , presented poster at both the regional and national level conferences).
