Philosophy, University of Notre Dame 3.97 GPA in a dual degree, Peace Corps experience. I spoke with admissions before I applied and they told me directly that I was unlikely to be admitted as they don't have a strong existentialist focus at the school. Applied bc they gave me a voucher/ hubris. Stay realistic/ keep your head up!

Philosophy, Yale University Received an email to check portal, and then a very kind follow-up email from Shelly Kagan. I've already been accepted at a program that's a much better fit with my interests, so I will likely be declining the waitlist spot soon. Best of luck to all sticking it out! 1a/1w/0r/7p

Philosophy, University of Kentucky MA GPA: 4.0, from a highly ranked terminal Master's program. Incredibly bizarre behavior from a program I had previously held in high regard. Very disappointed with the nature of this rejection.
